At Women in Tech SEO, community is at the heart of everything we do.
We recently invited our WTS members to share candid feedback in our annual Community Survey—120 of you answered, and the insights you provided will shape our plans for the year ahead.
Here’s what we learned, why it matters, and how we’ll act on it.
Your honest responses guide our decisions—whether it’s launching new initiatives, refining existing ones, or finding revenue streams that align with The WTS Way.
This year, we asked you:

Your advocacy is our greatest engine for growth—thank you for spreading the word!
While 30% of you had no reservations, many worried:
Actions:
Expectations: 99% of you say WTS meets or exceeds expectations
The WTS Way: 96% feel our Code of Conduct and values are alive in every space
This reaffirms our commitment to a safe, kind, supportive, and inclusive environment—core tenets of The WTS Way.

When asked what makes WTS special, your responses fell into five pillars:
These pillars guide every decision we make—ensuring WTS remains a place where you can learn, connect, and grow.
Being able to ask questions and no-one is demeaning. Everyone is super helpful. It's helpful in all facets, not just asking SEO questions. I've gotten advice on my career and also made a lot of career connections. I've found opportunities through these connections on WTS and everyone is genuinely out to support each other :)
We’ll keep creating spaces for learning and networking, because those are the engines of professional growth.
Connecting me with work opportunities, answering tough questions with empathy and thoughtfulness, allowing me to do the same and flex that muscle, speaking opportunities, new friends; WTS has impacted my career in a million ways!
You’ve asked for:
Action items:
Local chapters or smaller, local in-person events. I would also love to see workshops make a comeback!
Our WTSPartner program keeps membership free— 68% of you know about it, and 82% view partner brands more positively because of our endorsement.
Your trust extends to them, and that trust fuels our ability to serve you.
I respect a company getting involved in a partnership with WTS because it means they see value in what we do and want to further it. I take it to mean they're thoughtful and on the level. It lends legitimacy.
Knowing our goal is to keep WTS free for members with programs like WTSPartners, we asked y'all about additional monetisation strategies and you suggested:
We’ll explore these ideas against our values—ensuring any revenue stream enhances your experience.
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback! Your voice is our roadmap.
