Introducing Angela Moura! Based in London, Angela is a bilingual Global and EMEA Senior SEO Executive, SEO content strategist and agency e-commerce champion with a background in journalism, broadcast media production and music journalism. We asked her everything from how she first got into SEO to what empowers her to be the brilliant woman she is 💪🏽
In 2017, I completed a couple of free online courses in Digital Marketing and SEO caught my eye. I then started to apply for jobs and within 8 months I got an opportunity to work in a small agency and the rest is history. I am now working in one of the biggest global agencies within WPP.
I love building content calendars and doing content audits. It's fun to research what are the best topics, keywords and how that can be scaled not only in SEO but also in other channels with a holistic strategy.
It's hard to choose but I really love GA, SEMrush and SEOMonitor.
That it is all about intent and focusing in quality content. Thinking from a user's perspective will always bring you more quality engagement.
Working now within WPP for the past 3 years of a major career change will always bring me a smile to my face.
Don't put yourself in a box, I am learning so much, not only in SEO but also other channels and e-commerce.
For sure Areej AbuAli and what she created with WTS. Through WTS I also found a mentor last year Crystal J Carter and she greatly helped me think differently about a lot of things within the industry.
To learn every day a new thing and become better than I was the day before.
I am also very passionate about diversity and inclusion so I feel being in this position within the industry will help me spread the word about different career paths to be people that might have not heard about it but also make the industry more diverse.
