Introducing Dii Pooler! Dii Pooler is a PPC & SEO Strategist with over a decade of experience specializing in Google Ads. She's the author of Six Figure Google Ads and she's the powerhouse behind Pooler Digital, a consultancy that audits & optimizes PPC campaigns.

She shares her expertise through a thriving newsletter that provides practical insights and advanced techniques to a growing community of advertisers.

How did you get into SEO?

My career started in Digital Marketing with a focus on paid search campaigns (Google & Bing). As I got deeper into the field, I noticed how closely related SEO & PPC are - especially when it comes to improving landing pages and driving conversions.

It didn't take me long to discover that strong SEO practices could boost PPC performance by improving quality scores, ad relevance, brand trust & authority. This piqued my interest, so I dove head first into SEO.

What is your favourite SEO task?

I love combining SEO & CRO tasks - such as analyzing user behavior through heat maps, tweaking page layout, content, and CTAs to improve both rankings, conversions, and aligning pages to boost PPC ad relevancy.

What is your go-to tool or resource that you can't live without?

Matomo is one of the lesser known & utilized tools that is super user friendly. It tracks user behavior, provide heat maps, session recordings, and funnel analysis.

It helps me key in where users drop off and what parts of the site need optimization.

What is something you learned in SEO that made you have an 'AHA' moment?

How to get your content ranked in AI overviews with schema markup, optimizing your website for readability, quality content, & more.

What is your proudest industry achievement?

My proudest industry achievement is speaking at WTSFest Portland, that was a wonderful experience.

I had the opportunity to meet a lot of talented professionals & learn quite a bit about ranking on Reddit, Imposter Syndrome and topic ideas to drive content to your website (which I've been using to help some brands rank in AI Overviews!).

What advice would you give those who are starting out in SEO?

Jump in and take on new projects, internships, roles, or whatever you can to get experience.

Question everything! SEO & PPC are constantly changing - stay up to date with industry trends.

Try to romanticize remaining a student of SEO, you'll always have an opportunity to evolve and grow.

Give a shout out to someone in the industry who inspires you, and tell us why

Flavilla Fongang is a huge inspiration to me because she has not only excelled in tech and in the branding industry, but has also paved the way for women of color in spaces that are often underrepresented.

She has proven that with passion, resilience, and clear vision, you can rise to the top, breaking barriers along the way.

She continues to give back to he community by providing resources, coaching, and mentorship.

Finally, what empowers you to be the brilliant person you are?

What inspires me to be a brilliant person? Honestly, my son, every time I think I can't push any further, I look at him and remember that I'm doing this for him.

He motivates me to be the best version of myself, not just for my own growth, but so he can look back and see that his mom worked hard to create something for him, her family, & community.
